Overview

Our refund policy applies exclusively to career planning consulting services offered by Dusktree LLC (“Dusktree,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and lasts 30 days from the date of service purchase. If 30 days have passed since your booking, we cannot offer a full refund or service adjustment.
To be eligible for a full refund, the consulting service must not have been initiated—meaning no coaching sessions (virtual or in-person) have been conducted, no custom deliverables (e.g., career action plans, resume reviews, skills assessments) have been shared, and our team has not invested time in project research or preparation. For services including physical deliverables (e.g., printed career guides, assessment workbooks), the items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging.

Non-Refundable Services & Deliverables

The following services and deliverables are exempt from refunds:
  • Fully or partially completed consulting services (e.g., coaching sessions conducted, draft/final deliverables shared, career strategy calls completed)
  • Customized digital assets (personalized action plans, resume/CV drafts, cover letter templates, session recordings) that have been accessed or downloaded
  • Rush services (e.g., 48-hour resume reviews, emergency career transition support) pre-approved by the client
  • Subscription-based coaching packages (refunds apply only to unused months with 30 days’ written notice; no partial refunds for active subscription periods)
  • Third-party service fees (e.g., background checks, industry certification referrals) that we have already remitted
  • Physical deliverables (e.g., printed workbooks) that are opened, used, or damaged after delivery

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds are granted only in the following circumstances:
  • The service is canceled after initiation but before key deliverables (e.g., final career plan, final resume review) are completed—refunds are calculated based on the percentage of work finished at the time of request (e.g., 50% refund if 1 of 2 coaching sessions is completed).
  • The refund request is submitted between 15–30 days of purchase (a 10% administrative fee may apply to cover time and resources invested in initial planning).
  • There is a verified breach of service agreement (e.g., missed session deadlines, failure to meet the agreed-upon scope of work).

Refund Process

  1. Submit a formal refund request to major@dusktree.pro with your full name, service order number, and detailed reason for the request (including supporting documentation if applicable).
  2. Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days and notify you via email of the approval or rejection.
  3. For approved refunds:
    • Full refunds (for unused, uninitiated services) will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method.
    • Partial refunds will be calculated and credited within 10–14 business days.
  4. If returning physical deliverables (e.g., unopened printed guides), mail them to our return address below with your order number clearly marked on the package.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within the stated timeline:
  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement for pending transactions (refunds may take additional time to post depending on your financial institution).
  2. Contact your credit card issuer or bank to inquire about processing delays.
  3. If the issue persists, email major@dusktree.pro with your refund approval confirmation, order number, and payment details for follow-up.

Service Adjustments (Instead of Exchanges)

We do not offer direct exchanges of services, but we can reschedule unused coaching sessions or adjust your service package (e.g., upgrade from a single consultation to a 3-session package) if requested within 15 days of purchase. Additional fees may apply for upgrades, and any price difference will be due at the time of adjustment.

Gifts & Gift Cards

  • If the service was purchased as a gift and the recipient has not initiated the service, the gift giver may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
  • If the gift has been partially used, the gift giver will receive a partial refund based on the unused portion of the service.
  • Gift cards for our career planning services are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Shipping for Returned Physical Deliverables

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning physical deliverables. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
For high-value physical items (e.g., custom career portfolios over $100), we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
